Bamboo Yarn (FSC Certified)

Bamboo was first used 5000 years ago in China; this plant was first used as food followed by kitchen utensils, music instruments, furniture, bicycle, spoon, basket, fiber and lastly filament yarn in today’s industry.

China Tamboocell Union abbreviated as CTBU was founded with the efforts of Jilin by taking bamboo as the raw materials to offer continuous and first-quality services to global home textile, circular knitting and fabric manufacturers.

China has the richest bamboo resources with more than 7 million hectares of area.

Bamboo forests can store 1000 tons of water per hectare, absorb 20-40 tons of CO2 and release 15-20 tons of oxygen every year.

Bamboo forests are called the “Kidney of the Earth”.

New generation fiber CANOPY is evaluated under FSC forest management and usage system standards with BAMBOO LCA LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT and NATURAL FOREST COLLABORATION.

Bamboo must not be harvested from old and dangerous forests included forests with intact fiber. Bamboo fields must be harvested by local workers trained in traditional ways. When these criteria are met, bamboo will be an alternative to floss and viscose yarns with a higher carbon footprint that are manufactured from artificial or endangered forests.

BAMBOO brand manufactured in HEBEI JIGAO factory of JILIN CHEMICAL GROUP received bamboo regenerated cellulose fiber traceability document after audits by TANBOOCEL INTERTEK showing that the company follows the bamboo forest management regulations and baboo fiber filament manufacturer JILIN CHEMICAL FIBER GROUP CO LTD received 70% BAMBOO product viscose filament yarn manufacturer compliance certificate for traceability.

Bamboo state project mixing 3 different types which are Sichve Cizhu(Neosinocalamus affinis), Dragon Bamboo(Dendrocalamus giganteus Munro and Yellow Bamboo(Dendrocalamus membranaceus Munro)and only cultivated in Sichuan province is a special state project which JILIN CHEMICAL FIBERS GROUP received permission for cultivation and harvesting.

The materials are chemical-free and manufactured by SICHUAN in the BAMBOO PULP factory. Jilin Chemical and Ceytek companies have FSC certificates.

GREEN LEAF – COTTON LINTERS (RECYCLED CLAIM STANDARD)

This is manufactured from cotton linter. The short fibers on the cotton seeds after linter are called cotton linters which form 15-20% of the seed and were used as agricultural waste in the past and these are doffed by the flannel stripper, clean and recycled as cotton linter. The pulp can save 15-20% cotton fields.

EcoJilin recycles the manufacturing water with 95% efficiency. It is possible to save 24133tce per year by improving process technologies by recycling standard coal, circulating water and wasting hot air to thermal energy.

EcoJilin is manufactured from 100% pure natural cotton linter pulp, reached 98% decay rate after 45 days in natural conditions and the impact on the natural environment is at a low level.

EcoJilin supports establishing a sustainable textile supply chain, protecting old and endangered forests, continuously improving and optimizing manufacturing processes, decreasing resource consumption and waste emissions and protecting the ecologic environment. Jilin Chemical has a Canopy Style certificate.

WOODEN PULP – FSC Certified

The wooden pulp is supplied from the trees in forests cultivated, raised, harvested and re-forested under sustainable forestry principles and approved by Canopy. This pulp is supplied from proven legal and sustainable resources. Accordingly, wooden pulp and wood suppliers are certified under strict FSC standards. Wood as a raw material is always CO2 neutral for the climate because wood use can only cause CO2 emission equal to the CO2 bonded to the plant with photosynthesis. The pulp is obtained from this natural and renewable resource – therefore, it is called viscose “natural” polymer. The by-products created when the pulp is separated from the wood are refined with ethanol or used as biofuel. Viscose filament yarn manufacturing with spinning technology is a chemical-technical process involving different steps that can take up to six weeks depending on the viscose structure.

Our company has an FSC® certificate.

NYLON 6 –FDY – POY

What Is POY?

POY yarns used in external friction false twisting texturing machine manufacture partially oriented yarns at 3500 m/min during filament yarn manufacturing. These yarns are called “poy yarns”. These cannot be used without being textured.

What Is FDY?

FDY means Fully Drawn Yarn. These are mainly obtained by mainly drawing polyester fibers on POY and FDY production lines at high wrapping speeds (5500-7000 m/min). These are used as flat yarn and are ready-to-use as the physical values such as elongation, boiling and drawing values.

Polyamide 6 Yarn Properties and Usage Areas

This yarn has high resistance.

Moisture holding capacity is low (4.45%).

It has glossy and matte options.

The abrasion resistance and heat resistance are high.

The pilling ratio is low.

The yarn is flexible.

It is resistant to chemicals.

The yarn can be used as gimped yarn with elastane.

The yarn can be cleaned easily.

The yarn will have a voluminous structure after being textured and offers comfortable wear for the end-user.

These are commonly used in circular knitting, sock knitting, seamless and weaving sectors.

Digital print and other prints can be applied.

These are commonly preferred in products such as underwear, activewear, classic socks, women’s thin socks, women’s blouse and dresses.

Polyamide 6 and Dyeing

The yarn can be dyed in atmospheric boilers at 95 °C.

Acidic dyes are used.

The yarn can be dyed with gypsum, have cheese dyeing or dye in pieces.

Color repair is possible.

Neon colors can be applied.

Water extraction property can be increased with Viking chemicals.

The yarn has high color fastness.

When dyed with wool mixture fibers, the yarn has single color (since the yarns are dyed with acid dyes).

Double color is possible at 95 °C when used with ECDP (Easy Cationic Dyeable Polyester).

POLIPROPILEN MULTIFILAMENT

PROLEN® is a collectively dyed polypropylene multifilament yarn produced at the beautiful mountains of High Tatras, Slovakia. This is a beneficial yarn for our health with extraordinary properties to improve our sports or daily life performance. The manufacturing process and PROLEN® itself respects the environment to protect our future generations. PROLEN® can be plain textile, plain technique, textured high elastic, textured, low elastic, air textured and special performance.
